Announcing Thanks

Today I am grateful. No more so than any other day, but today I acknowledge my blessings and announce thanks.

I am thankful to be able to live in such a privileged existence.

I do not worry where my next meal will come from.
I do not fear that a storm will wash away my house.
I have a family that loves me, and I love them.
I am lucky to have my health.
Time to think.
Time to rest.

I am honored to be allowed to pursue my education through a University.

The libraries I can visit.
Access to the internet.
The electricity that lights my house.
The Jeep that takes me to the places I need to go.
Music to soothe my soul.
